Although Dallas has far fewer skyscrapers than cities such as New York City or Chicago, the ones it does possess are among the most architecturally striking in the world. On any given day, the city's collection of gleaming towers, many with sharp, clean lines, stand out in bold contrast against a sky that is usually blue. Several boast brightly mirrored surfaces that reflect adjacent structures or, like chameleons, change color depending upon the angle of the sun and the presence or absence of clouds.
