As the name implies, this is a museum dedicated to telling the story of the United States Constitution. Opened on July 4, 2003, the Center features lots of interesting exhibits and displays, especially the Signers Hall, which features 42 life-sized statues of the men who signed the Constitution in 1787, where you can walk among the figures and see for yourself how short James Madison was (barely 5 feet) and how tall (well over 6 feet) George Washington was in comparison to almost everyone else.

Learn more about the Constitution and read a transcript and see a scanned copy of the original at the NATIONAL ARCHIVES website.
