The Anchor

The Anchor was a commemorative book that newly-graduated recruits could purchase as a memento of their nine-weeks at NTC San Diego. It combined seventy generic pages of photos and text with sixteen pages of group photos specific to the company to which the recruit belonged. These keepsakes were published by Josten's Military Publications, which had an office in the R-4 Building at Camp Farragut. The sixteen pages that pertained exclusively to Company 68-089 can be viewed below.
