This mythic island, as mysterious as the lost continent of Atlantis, is reputed to be the secret home of leprechauns and unicorns. Mermaids are said to make their home in a hidden cove on its shore.

It is also rumored that Elvis, Jim Morrison, and Amelia Earhart were all left here by an alien spacecraft and are now living together in a hippie-style commune hidden inside a dormant volcano in the island's center.

The exact location of Bonnie Belle Island is uncertain and most of the time it is invisible. Legend holds, however, that it can be seen on the fifth Tuesday of the thirteenth month of each year when the moon is full or on MSN Maps of White Rock Lake or Yahoo Maps, although it is not identified by name.
