This website is a personal non-profit, educational site that was created to serve as a tribute to the Santa Fe Railroad's "Texas Chief" passenger service from Dallas and Denton, Texas to Chicago Illinois, from 1955, when the service started, to 1968, when the service ceased. All images on this website (except photographs and other images credited to or created by or for the host) are used in accordance with the "Fair Use' provision of U.S. copyright law, which allows the use of copyrighted material "for purposes such as criticism, comment, news reporting, teaching (including multiple copies for classroom use), scholarship, or research."
