As the bronze plaques attached to each end attests, this small concrete bridge was constructed by the City of Dallas Park Board between 1937 and 1938. Spanning Dixon Branch Creek, it is located on East Lawther Drive between Sunset Bay and the Stone Tables Picnic Area.

As a result of vandalism, age, or neglect (or perhaps all three), this bridge is starting to show its age. Large chunks of concrete are missing from the interior (roadway) sides.
