The Plaza Solana, dedicated Saturday, September 18, 2004, is one of the newest additions to White Rock Lake Park. Made of the same type of stone used to construct the Sunset Bay building and the CCC statue base, this scenic overlook is a wonderful spot to sit and contemplate the lake, its wildlife, the universe, or whatever you like.

Two free binocular telescopes, one of which is set at a height suitable for use by wheelchair visitors, provide long distance views across the lake or close-ups of the many species of birds that frequent the park's environs.
