DART's new White Rock Station officially opened for service on Monday, September 24, 2001, offering area residents the opportunity to more easily reach the "jewel" of Dallas' park system, without the need to drive their own cars. (See the DART Web site for more information about fares, frequency, etc.) The station is located on Northwest Highway, near its intersection with West Lawther Drive (where the old Knights of Columbus Hall was previously situated).
